The Story:
Gottdamn I can’t even remember what I watched. But basically I watched so many movies that I could almost complete this challenge that supposedly be done in a year. And I almost finished it in a month! Damn crazy woman. In December, I watched both theatrical versions of Murder on The Orient Express. Thoughts? I have none. Maybe those were not my kind of movie. I watched a couple of animated movies but two that really struck me were In This Corner of The World and Tokyo Godfathers. So good!!! The first one had a gentle feel to it (which I love) and the latter was so funny (of course it was a black comedy). Sliding Doors was surprisingly nice, and i….like it.
I watched some noirs and neo-noirs too. Yes all of them were brilliant and I like, like, like this genre, dare I say it. Sunset Boulevard became the newest addition to my favorite movies list. I am obsessed with that movie. All About Eve is all about everything I love in a movie. Bitchy characters, bitchy drama, damn good script. That Thing You Do! was fun and got some catchy tunes, I literally listened to the soundtracks maybe like a million times. AND DAMN was Thomas Everett Scott cute or what?? I also like A League of Their Own and Thelma and Louise. Geena Davis is a literal goddess, especially in A League of Their Own.
I still have a lot to say but really I’m just so tired.
So….bye!
(I may or may not continue this rubric in 2018)
