The Story:

I watched a few horror movies there. One thing that surprised me: I wasn’t as scared as I used to be. Like, yeah it was quite scary when I was watching it but after that I was like “well ok”.

MY 12th MOVIE IS 12 ANGRY MEN. I fucking love coincidences.

I did some classic romances and my favorite is The Apartment. It is unbelievably good. Great acting, great story, it’s amazing. I read Umimachi Diary first (manga) but it was a long time ago, I already forgot what it was about. The movie is an epitome of feel-good, slice-of-life, gentle cinema. Well almost all of Japanese movies that I watched (or going to watch) are slow-moving and heartwarming. Like Departures and Midnight Diner. Love u heartwarming Japanese movies.

I watched Alien for the first time AND I FREAKING LOVE ITTTTT. It is so great I’m crying. I haven’t finished Aliens, but I think I will still prefer the first one because there’s less action? More hide-and-seek, cat-and-mouse game. AND Oh My Golly, did you see Tom Skerritt in it???? So attractive. I don’t know why and how, but I already liked him the first time I saw him (Steel Magnolias, he’s already old in it). I also think he looked a bit like Ethan Hawke in this movie??? AND JOHN HURT WAS SO ADORABLE. Pity that he’s the first one to die. I initially loathe Ash, but actually fuck u company.

Annie Hall gets on my nerves. I really can’t watch movies with neurotic people in it. Well, I can’t live with them too. But to tell you the truth, the end really gets me, in a good way. It’s kinda sad, how Alvy actually still loves her.

I hate Ferris Bueller. Wtf? Live and let go and become irresponsible? Bye. You’re the villain of your own movie. I love Cameron tho. It should be titled “Cameron Frye’s Day Disturbed by His So-Called ‘Friend'”.

Star of The Month: John Cusack (15 and 23). I think that’s all…….? I really forgot. OH and Gregory Peck!! (13 and 18).

To sum it up: I watched a lot of good movies in September.

See you.
